In celebration of Christmas in July 2022, I give to you a free chart for my design 'Snowflake Bauble'.
It's a sweet little motif measuring 29x40 Stitches (5.3 x 7.3 cm) (2.1 x 2.9 inches) on 14 count Aida fabric.
The design also lends itself well for younger children to use with their Hama Beads or other fusible plastic beads to complete a festive project or gift for parents, grandparents or teachers. You can download it here.

These patterns have been available on my blog and website for some time and have proven themselves to be versatile for many occasions over the years. So with this versatility in mind, I offer them to you once again for this sparkling occasion.

Here’s a sweet little freebie stitch project for the weekend. A perfect mini stitch to decorate a greeting card, invitation or gift tag for Weddings, Mother’s day or Valentine’s day.
If you like this project and want something bigger in the same style then head over to my Etsy shop where you will be able to purchase ‘Treasured Love’.

It's perfect as a quick project for someone who is already comfortable with stitching, or for a beginner learning to cross stitch for the first time. Each of the elements making up the sampler can be used on their own or combined in small groups to create a mini design perfect for a gift tag or for embellishing an egg cosy or napkin. This project is ideal for using up scraps of fabric and left over embroidery cotton in your stash.
There is an extra 'stitch free' project idea for children on the last page of the chart, which is free to download on my website at www.weediflowercreations.com
Wishing you a relaxing weekend.

I had such fun working on this Snowflake pattern this week and I hope you have lots of fun making them too. I'm looking forward to making a whole blizzard of them each night while I watch television to decorate the house and tree with this winter - which might also help me to stop nibbling on mince pies quite so much.
I would really appreciate it and love it if you would help me to keep making and offering these free patterns by making a small donation on my Ko-fi account if you have used any of my patterns or just like my blog or Instagram. I don't receive yarn or supplies from sponsors so this would enable me to purchase yarn for new projects.

I'm so happy to be able to share my latest blanket pattern with you. I've been working on the blanket and pattern off and on since late last year. This blanket is perfect for beginners because the only stitches used are chains and trebles.
The colour palette here was inspired by seaside colours, however the design lends itself well to a whole host of colour combinations.
Wishing you loads of fun working on this design, and if you do change the colours i'd love to see a photo of your completed blanket.
