My new cross stitch design called Snowflake Bouquet

I'm delighted to share my new design called Snowflake Bouquet in counted cross stitch. It has been uploaded to my Ko-fi shop ready for you to download.

I can't tell you how much i've loved working on this today.
Happy stitching!
Karen x

NOTE: The thread colours in the chart are red and white. The blue option shown here is to give an idea what it would look like in a colour other than red - the colour choice is yours if you feel adventurous.

Cold Hands Warm Heart Cross Stitch Redwork Band Sampler

© Karen Wiederhold / Weediflower Creations 2023

With Winter still with us here in the Northern Hemisphere,  I'm delighted to introduce my newest cross stitch design called 'Cold Hands Warm Heart' which is a band sampler stitched in red thread upon a white background.

It was inspired by a recent visit from my very special and long-time friend Jen to see us just before Christmas.

I've dedicated this piece to her which reads as follows "Dedicated to Jen in memory of her trip to the UK in December 2022 to visit us.  Lovely memories of chilly days, yummy food, sparkly lights, lots of laughter, cosy times, snowy scenes, wooly warmers (and who can forget that special warm-itself-up jacket)".

Design details:

Cold Hands Warm Heart measures as follows
16 ct 102 x 236 Stitches (16.2 x 37.5 cm) (6.4 x 14.8 in.)
18 ct 102 x 236 Stitches (14.4 x 33.3 cm) (5.7 x 13.1 in.)
25 ct 102 x 236 Stitches (10.4 x 24.0 cm) (4.1 x 9.4 in.)

The model is shown as being stitched on white 16 count Aida fabric, with DMC thread.

You'll find it waiting for you to download as a PDF in my shop.

Snowflake Crochet Motif

I had such fun working on this Snowflake pattern this week and I hope you have lots of fun making them too.  I'm looking forward to making a whole blizzard of them each night while I watch television to decorate the house and tree with this winter - which might also help me to stop nibbling on mince pies quite so much.

I would really appreciate it and love it if you would help me to keep making and offering these free patterns by making a small donation on my Ko-fi account if you have used any of my patterns or just like my blog or Instagram.  I don't receive yarn or supplies from sponsors so this would enable me to purchase yarn for new projects.

Love, Karen x
