New cross stitch design called A Little Bit Taller

Introducing A Little Bit Taller which is a counted cross stitch piece with the chart available to download instantly as a PDF in my Etsy shop.

The model is stitched on Zweigart Murano 32 count Ivory fabric using DMC threads.  The stitched area measures 93 x 75 stitches.

Silent Night Barn Owl Stitchalong

What do you do with your Orts?

To close the year I like to empty the little jar where I collect all the thread remnants (Orts) from stitching and hand-quilting worked on in 2023. 

It’s such fun to hold it in my hand and see a visual history of the projects intertwined. The threads are stored in a ziplock bag to use later on as filling for small ornaments.
