Scanning and relief

The last few days i've been a woman possessed.  I've been scanning all my scrapbook album layouts (there are 100's I kid you not) into Photoshop; merging them and then saving in iPhoto. 

This is a long process but i've set myself up with a nice smooth system involving two apples (not the edible) the scanner and my tablet (not medicinal) so i'm getting through them all at a nice pace.  It has long been a fear of mine, since entering the digital photography world where photos are stored on hard drives and such, that my old printed film photos were vulnerable to damage or loss.

I'm breathing easier knowing these precious memories are finally being kept safer and will be easier to share amongst my children without the problem of which ONE inherits the albums leaving the others put out.  More scanning today..... but come this evening i'll be occupied with this cross stitch project i'm loving working on.  It's called Harbour Lights by Janet Bell and adapted into a kit by Bothy Threads.

And in this bag lurks another project which will have it's outing soon.
